let me know when your heading back up that way. I was over in the bingham ,solon , brighton area this past weekend. ride your area alot. alot of nice cuts up the mtn sides to ride but still alittle wet on the good ones. ;D
I go out with just one jeep all the time. just go prepared for most anything and you will be ok alone.

After all that we didn't even go. Mt. Climber broke down and had to cancel and the trails are too far back in the woods to go alone. Some day when your Jeeps are all fixed up we'll have a fun place to go. Boy, you guys are hard on those poor Jeeps!

Rockman.... which trails are you talking about?  The southern and southwest side of Sugarloaf in Carrabasset?

The plan is to start on the west side of Mt. Abraham and work north alongside Sugarloaf through the caribou valley and try to come out on rt. 27 in Carrabassett. It's all old logging roads and beautiful mountains. I've only been part way and it takes many trips to see it all, we'll go back.

There are many great trails back there.... be careful around the shale roads they do an number on the tires. Be careful near the reservation, the Navy has been chasing more away now.

No problem on the rain check guys, we'll be doing this almost every weekend all summer so this isn't a special occasion. If you only came once it should be in clear weather to see the beautiful view. We're in the foothills of the western mountains and that's my favorite place to wheel. In nicer weather we've got plenty of room for tents.  We'll probably be leaving tomorrow (Thursday) after work. 754-5005

Hey it's supposed to be a shitty weather weekend so why not go Jeepin'. We've got a ridgetop camp in the middle of 200 acres and we even have indoor plumbing. We have 6 empty beds that will sleep 9 and plenty of floor space. We've got some good trails on the property and plenty nearby on company land. Our plan is to explore the mountains on the backside of Sugarloaf on Sat. or Sun. The ride will be stocker friendly with some fun stuff to go with it. As of now it's just the wife and I going but you guys are welcome to come. I know it's short notice but sometimes that's the most fun ( we just weasled out of a boring commitment). Bring the wife or double up with someone and check us out. Take rt.2 to Palmyra, 151 to Athens and the Hole in the wall rd. to Solon. We're at 203 E. shore rd. in Embden. Post up.
